The Senior Physicist (MR-Linac) contributes to the day to day operation of all medical physics aspects of online adaptive radiotherapy activities using the Unity MR-Linac at The Harley Street Clinic. As the Senior Physicist (MR-Linac), you will work in a multi-disciplinary team providing online adaptive radiotherapy using the Unity MR-Linac. You will be trained and become locally competent in all areas within MR-Linac treatment planning, quality assurance, and radiation dosimetry, and will support the development and implementation of online adaptive radiotherapy techniques. This is an exciting time to join the team as we establish the MR-Linac service and introduce cutting edge techniques and equipment.

What you’ll bring:
Essential:
HCPC registration
Masters degree in relevant scientific, technical, or healthcare related discipline
Experience of Radiotherapy treatment planning
Experience of working in a clinical environment
Practical experience of radiotherapy equipment (linear accelerators, treatment planning systems and dosimetry)
Advanced theoretical & practical knowledge of ionising radiation and radiotherapy physics
Desirable:
Experience of Radiotherapy treatment plan checking
Experience with online adaptive processes and equipment, e.g. MR-Linacs
Knowledge and experience of stereotactic planning and associated quality assurance and radiation dosimetry requirements
Experience of using Monaco TPS
Experience of using Eclipse TPS and Aria OIS
