Doctors with experience in: Haematology, Oncology, Acute Medicine, Cardiothoracic, are invited to join the  Bank for ad-hoc shifts at HCA Healthcare UK’s private patient facility The Harborne Hospital, in Birmingham. 

  • Location: Birmingham 

  • Pay: £60 – 65 per hour, paid weekly. 

We’re looking for Higher Specialist Trainee Doctor’s (or equivalent), with experience within Haematology, Oncology, Acute Medicine, Cardiothoracic, to join our team at The Harborne Hospital. 

The Harborne Hospital is our 4th NHS Joint Venture and a brand-new, purpose built, state-of-the-art £100m facility that opened in January. Built in partnership with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, the hospital has deep clinical infrastructure and offers a variety of outpatient and inpatient services across 50 beds, including 10 Outpatient Chemotherapy Day case Chairs and 6 level 3 critical care beds.

Applicants will need: 

  • GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK 
  • Specialist Training
  • Haematology, Oncology, Acute Medicine, Cardiothoracic.
  • ST3/CT3/IMT3, ICM3, ACCS 3 and above trained Doctors
  • A passion for team-work, patient focused care with the ability to build and share best practice and offer a first-class patient experience 

Selection process:

CV review, a bank interview with a lead Doctor, and onboarding pre-employment checks.  This end-to-end process can take on average 4-6 weeks.
