Our network in the UK

HCA Healthcare is the largest provider of privately funded care in the world with a network of specialist hospitals across the USA and the UK.

At HCA Healthcare UK we have developed comprehensive haematology services including dedicated JACIE accredited Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant units. We work in partnership with some of the UKs most prestigious university teaching hospitals and are one of the only private providers in the UK to offer these complex haematology services.

Our team of specialist haemato-oncologists provide expert treatment for leukaemia, myeloma and lymphoma. We provide comprehensive pathways from diagnostic assessment to treatment and supportive care.

Our multidisciplinary team approach

Multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) of leading specialists come together to collaborate on every patient case – no matter how complex.

We work with some of the UK’s leading haematology consultants and are in a unique position to bring together MDTs from renowned university hospitals including; University College London Hospital, Imperial College, Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College, The Royal Marsden, St George’s, St Bartholomew’s and The Christie.

Our stem cell transplant service

Our network of quality assured haematopoietic stem cell transplant centres provide comprehensive treatment pathways for blood cancers, red cell disorders and auto immune conditions.

Our highly specialised teams of haematology consultants and senior nurses are experienced in multiple transplant techniques, including autologous, allogeneic, cord blood and haplo-identicle stem cell transplants.

Our high-quality, safe, patient care

In all instances, treatment pathways are determined by evidence-based protocols and underpinned by rigorous clinical governance structures.

Our blood network is overseen by a blood board; led by world-renowned clinicians from across the industry and joined by colleagues from the Sarah Cannon Blood Network in the USA. This board ensures best clinical practice based on the latest national and international guidelines, promoting high-quality and safe care.
