Hear from Sue who came to see Mr Ricard Simo, Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon, after she found a lump in her neck.
From diagnosis to treatment
Sue was referred to the Fine Needle Aspiration Clinic at London Bridge Hospital, by Mr Ricard Simo, Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon. In the sample taken from the lump, unusual lesions were identified and Sue was diagnosed with a thyroid cancer tumour.
10 days later Sue was admitted to Private Care at Guy's for thyroid surgery.
