Samir Massoud pursued his medical studies at Alexandria University Medical School in Egypt. Relocating to the UK in 1989, he underwent training in general surgical disciplines and attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993. He then pursued advanced training in Higher Surgical Orthopaedics in Nottingham, achieving Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 1999. His expertise encompasses extensive training in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures, reconstructive and joint replacement surgery, as well as the management of sports injuries.

In January 2003, Mr Massoud assumed the role of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and University Hospital Birmingham. He played a pivotal role as a founding member of the Birmingham Knee and Shoulder Clinic, established in 2004. Additionally, he is an integral part of The Midland Orthopaedic Practice.
