Consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Jig Patel, specialises in all knee and hip disorders as well as fractures and trauma. In addition to hip and knee disorders, he also has an interest in computer-assisted joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery, ligament, and minimally invasive fixation of fractures.

He graduated from the University of Southampton before undertaking his orthopaedic surgical training in major London teaching hospitals and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He then spent a year completing a fellowship in London and Ontario, where he focused on hip and knee surgery.

Mr Patel joined King’s College Hospital in 2002 as an orthopaedic consultant before joining University College Hospital in 2004.
