    Mr Jonathan Adamthwaite is a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon with outstanding clinical expertise and experience having won three international fellowships and three international awards. He has over ten years experience in plastic surgery. He was educated at Leeds Grammar School and won a place at Oxford University Medical School followed by further medical training at University College London. He was awarded a position on the prestigious London Pan-Thames Plastic Surgery Training Scheme. This rotation took him to the following centres of excellence in plastic surgery: Royal Marsden Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St George's Hospital, and Barts and The London. Mr Adamthwaite has completed advanced specialist training in Cosmetic Surgery and Breast Surgery in the UK, Europe and USA. He won a place on a dedicated Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the Wellington Hospital and King Edward VII Hospital, London's foremost private hospitals.

    Here he was trained in the latest techniques by the UK's top cosmetic surgeons. Mr Adamthwaite also received advanced breast surgery and breast reconstruction training as Microsurgical and Oncoplastic Breast Fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital, one of the world's leading cancer centres. Mr Adamthwaite is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Head of Training for the Department of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was recently elected to Plastic Surgery Council at the Royal Society of Medicine. He specialises in all aspects of aesthetic surgery with a special interest in breast and facial surgery. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed international journals and has written three book chapters on plastic surgery with the most recent in a new, ground-breaking and best-selling book on Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
