    Jonathan K. Makanjuola is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at King’s College Hospital with a specialist interest in bladder cancer (Clinical Lead), stone disease and upper urinary tract transitional cell carcinoma (TCC). Jonathan graduated from King’s College London School in Medicine in 2008.

    In 2012, he was the first in the national selection in the UK for specialist urology posts. He was one of the first recipients of the prestigious British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS)/World Congress of Endourology (WCE) fellowship, where he travelled to Sri Lanka to learn percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL - a keyhole surgery procedure to remove kidney stones) and surgical management of advanced stone disease.

    He is a deputy editor for the Journal of Endoluminal Endourology and has published numerous articles in international urological journals. Jonathan has presented over 40 abstracts at the American Urological Association (AUA), British Association of Urological surgeons (BAUS), European association of Urology (EAU) and the Society International Urology (SIU).
