    Mr Deepu Sethi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon and is one of a few surgeons who operates exclusively on the knee and deals with all problems related to the knee.

    Mr Sethi has a specialist interest in sports knee injuries, joint preservation surgery and knee replacement surgery.
    Mr Sethi qualified at University College London Medical School. He then went on to complete his specialist orthopaedic training at Oswestry, Birmingham and the completed specialist fellowship training in Australia.

    Mr Sethi's interests cover the whole range of knee surgery including arthroscopic anterior and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction for the unstable knee, repair of a torn meniscus, surgery for patello-femoral problems, through to osteotomy and joint replacement for the worn arthritic knee. Within joint replacement surgery Mr Sethi carries out both partial and total knee replacements; he is trained to perform robotic assisted knee replacements.

    Mr Sethi is one of few surgeons who performs ACL repair surgery (as opposed to ACL reconstruction surgery).

    Mr Sethi is also actively involved with research and teaching both nationally and internationally. He collects data on the outcome of his surgery and registers his patients on the National Ligament Registry dedicated to analysing and improving the outcome of cruciate ligament reconstruction.

    Prior to his medical career, Deepu was a racing driver and still has a passion and interest in motorsports.
