    Jonathan studied medicine at Cambridge University and Oxford University, before moving to London to specialise in paediatrics. He has subspeciality training in paediatric infectious diseases and immunology, having trained at Great Ormond Street and St Mary’s Hospitals. He has an MSc (Distinction) in Clinical Paediatrics and a PhD from UCL for his MRC-funded fellowship investigating natural immunity against pneumococcal pneumonia. Prior to moving to UCH as a general paediatrician, he was an NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Child Health.

    At UCH, Jonathan runs clinics for children and young people in general paediatrics, along with specialist clinics in infectious diseases, asthma/respiratory and allergy. Alongside his clinical work, Jonathan jointly leads the paediatric education programme at UCH.
