    Dr Hannah Cookson is a Consultant Dermatologist at the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guys and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, an internationally recognised centre of excellence for dermatology. Dr Cookson sees all general dermatology problems including acne, hair loss, benign and cancerous skin lesions, and rashes. With specialist interests including eczema, cutaneous allergy, urticaria and psoriasis.

    She is the lead consultant for the community dermatology service for Southwark and is involved in the education and training of GPs with a special interest in dermatology. Dr Cookson approaches her patient’s problems holistically, ensuring they are actively involved in decisions about their treatment.

    Dr Cookson graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 2006 before moving to London to complete her post graduate medical training. She undertook her dermatology specialist training at King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas’ Hospital where she was appointed as a substantive consultant in 2017. She has published in her areas of specialist interest and won prizes for her dedication to patient care.
