We’re looking for a Senior ODP – IVF to join our dedicated team at The Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Our clinic is one of the UK’s leading centres for assisted reproduction, offering IVF, donor and surrogacy services, and fertility preservation. With fully integrated electronic systems, an on-site pharmacy, and a team known for delivering five-star care, this is an opportunity to work alongside renowned consultants in reproductive medicine in a supportive, respectful environment.
As a Senior ODP in our IVF theatre, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe running of procedures. Day to day, you’ll work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists to provide safe sedation and recovery, assist throughout theatre processes, and advocate for patients during what can be a vulnerable experience. You’ll also help maintain compliance through audits and stock management, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

What you’ll bring
HCPC registration as an ODP or NMC registration (Anaesthetic Theatre Nurse )
Proven experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery within an operating theatre
Extensive experience in a theatre setting
Completion of an anaesthetics course (or equivalent experience)
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced theatre environment
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
