We’re looking for a PET/CT & CT Senior Radiographer to join our Molecular Imaging at The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders of Oncology Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

At The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience. From open heart surgery to pioneering techniques to treat cancer, our clinicians work together to provide the best possible care and treatments for our patients. Our staff always go the extra mile in caring for our patients which can be demonstrated by our recent outstanding rating awarded by the CQC.

Our Molecular Imaging Department covers a full range of oncological and non-oncological radioisotope imaging, as well as radioisotope therapy. At The Harley Street Clinic, we have a PET/CT scanner and a SPECT/CT gamma-camera, providing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and CT scans. Meanwhile, the LOC department is equipped with a PET/CT scanner and offers CT and PET/CT scans.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PET/CT and CT Radiographer to join our vibrant and fast-paced department.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in CT scanning, with PET/CT experience being a plus, though not required.

You should be flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of our service. A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently is essential.

Principal duties

  • To skilfully perform a wide range of CT and PET/CT scans

  • To skilfully perform radiopharmacy related tasks such preparation of doses to patients

  • To be knowledge in use of PACS, EHR and other key IT systems

  • To maintain a high standard of patient centred care through good clinical practice

  • To comply to all relevant radiation legislation, local health and safety, infection control and governance policies

  • To participate in departmental audit

  • To be accountable for own professional actions and working within codes of practice and professional guidelines, consulting senior staff as and when necessary

  • To support the superintendent and clinical specialists with the day to day running of the department

  • To be flexible on working hours to meet the needs of the service and able to travel between sites

Skills & Experience

  • BSc Radiography

  • HCPC registration (essential)

  • SOR recognised IV cannulation certificate (or equivalent)

  • Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post qualification work experience in CT
