At The Portland Hospital, we’re offering more than just a job — we’re offering a platform for your professional growth.
As part of HCA Healthcare UK, The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK dedicated exclusively to the healthcare of women and children. With four state-of-the-art theatres, including a hybrid suite, we support a wide range of complex procedures across Gynaecology, Obstetrics, General Surgery, and Paediatrics.

As a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner, you’ll be at the heart of a specialist surgical team delivering exceptional care to women and children. You’ll work across our advanced theatre suites, supporting procedures in obstetrics, gynaecology, general surgery, and paediatrics — with opportunities to expand into cardiac and other specialties.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your clinical expertise and leadership will make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with some of the UK’s leading consultants in a setting that blends cutting-edge technology with compassionate, patient-centred care.
At HCA UK, we care about what you care about — delivering the best care, building a career you’re proud of, and working in an environment that supports your wellbeing. We’ll invest in your development, celebrate your achievements, and give you the tools to thrive.
