Dr Paramdeep Dhillon is a Consultant Cardiologist at King's College Hospital NHS Trust, with Specialties and Sub-Specialties in Cardiac care and Heart rhythm. He has an interest in all forms of arrhythmia management, in particular ablation of arrhythmias and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. He was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist in 2015 in order to further development in his clinical and academic field. He undertook his training at St Mary's Hospital and St George's Hospital before being appointed as Consultant Cardiologist at Ashford and St Peter's NHS Trust and St George's NHS Trust in 2013.
Dr Dhillon qualified from St Bartholomew's Medical School, London, in 1998, previously gaining a first-class intercalated BSc in Biochemistry in 1994 at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London. He was awarded a British Heart Foundation Clinical PhD Research Fellowship in 2004 to investigate Atrial Fibrillation and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at both Imperial College London and University College London. He presented his research at international conferences including as a finalist at The British Cardiovascular Society Young Investigator Competition and has published his research in several scientific journals.
