World-leading cardiologists and cardiac surgeons

Our cardiologists, cardiac physiologists and specialist cardiac nurses offer you expert, comprehensive cardiac care as soon as you need it, with a focus on managing each person’s heart health.

There are three main types of cardiology consultants you may be referred to:

• Non-Invasive Cardiologist - focus on the coronary arteries and detection and treatment of heart disease.

• Invasive Cardiologist - focus on minimally-invasive treatment to identify or treat structural or electrical abnormalities within the heart (such as arrhythmia, palpitations and tachycardia).

• Interventional Cardiologist - focuses specifically on the catheter-based treatment of structural heart diseases (such as ventricular septal defect (VSD), cardiomyopathy, heart valve disease and Marfan Syndrome).

Our cardiologists work closely with cardiac and thoracic surgeons and respiratory physicians.
