Fergus Robertson is a consultant in interventional and diagnostic neuroradiology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) at Queen Square and at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for Children.
He studied medicine at Cambridge University and at Bart"s and the London Medical School before training in general medicine and cardiology across London and then in general radiology at the Royal Free Hospital.
He then undertook the Pan-London Neuroradiology Fellowship completing his training as the subspecialist Interventional Neuroradiology fellow at Queen Square and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. He took up current consultant positions in 2006.
He is currently clinical lead at NHNN and GOSH for interventional neuroradiology and for spinal imaging at NHNN. He works within the academic units of neuroradiology at NHNN and vascular neurology at GOSH, London.
His key interests include the endovascular treatment of acute stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and other vascular problems of the brain and spine in adults and children, including adjunctive treatments of craniospinal tumours. His diagnostic neuroimaging specialist interests include spinal and vascular neuroimaging. -
