The heart is resilient and works tirelessly, but symptoms such breathlessness, chest pain, dizziness and fatigue could all be signs that your heart is suffering. Despite common misconceptions, heart disease affects both men and women and can appear in young people too, which is why it’s important to get any symptoms checked by a specialist.

Achieving the right diagnosis
If your consultant or your GP suspect you have heart disease, you may be referred for diagnostic testing, overseen and reported on by our experienced team of specialist technicians, physiologists, clinicians and radiologists.
We understand that it can daunting to wait for the results of a scan or a test, which is why we make the process as efficient as possible for our patients. Our outpatient diagnostic facility is open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays and scans are available at our state-of-the-art imaging centre from 9am to 5pm. Patients can come in for multiple tests a day to minimise trips into hospital and in many cases our dedicated bookings team can offer same day bookings and same day reports.
Providing the future in heart attack prevention, today
The Harley Street Clinic is the first and only private healthcare provider in the UK to offer CaRi-Heart® technology to detect underlying risks that can lead to heart attacks in the future. By using artificial intelligence, CaRi-Heart® analyses the findings of a routine CT angiogram scan and measures inflammation of blood vessels in and around the heart to identify whether a patient is at risk of a heart attack.
The service is available to patients who have a referral from either their GP or consultant and can provide reassurance to those who have pre-existing heart problems or a family of heart disease. If results suggest an increased risk of heart attack, our team can begin working with you on putting preventative measures in place.
