The paediatric treatment we provides often include multidisciplinary teams (MDT), who work closely with the parents,to support each child, these MDT's include clinical specialist nurses and support staff across all HCA UK paediatric sites. We also offer access to dietitians, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and play specialists.
Our Urgent Care Centre is for non-life threatening medical needs and minor conditions. Here, children aged 0-17 can receive the urgent care they need 365 days a year, through same-day, face-to-face appointments and video consultations.
We provide your child with rapid access to our rota of leading paediatricians, urgent care doctors and specialist nurses. GPs and nurses with expertise in emergency paediatric care run the centre and are able to diagnose and treat any acute or underlying serious condition your child might have. If its not an urgent visit you can make an appointment with one of our specialist paediatric care services.

At The Portland Hospital we have general paediatrians who are experienced in managing a wide range of common medical childhood conditions. We have highly experienced general paediatric surgeons who work with young patients who need surgery, from premature and unborn babies to toddlers and young adults.
