From diagnosis to surgery, we offer highly-specialised care for babies, children and teens with complex conditions such as holes in the heart, chest pain, valve problems and structural heart disease.

Our paediatric cardiologists are some of the world's leading consultants in their field, and The Harley Street Clinic remains the only independent hospital in the UK specialising in paediatric congenital heart treatments.

Cancer care for children

Our multidisciplinary team of oncologists, consultant surgeons and paediatric intensive care specialists provide a comprehensive diagnostic service for babies and children up to 18 years of age.

If your child needs treatment for cancer, we have a chemotherapy day unit, and we use the latest, painless technology to target conditions that can't normally be treated, including the very latest radiotherapy equipment such as Linear Accelerators and CyberKnife®.

Neonatal ICU

Combining state-of-the-art medical technology with our highly skilled specialist team of consultant neonatologists and neonatal nurses, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has the perfect facilities to deliver the higher level of care your baby may require if they are premature, or ill upon arrival.

Special Care Baby Unit

The onsite Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at The Portland provides care for newborn babies who require medical treatment, due to being born early or because they have become unwell. The care given in SCBU is less intensive than that given in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
