Caring for you

Our cardiac services deliver the highest level of care to adults, children and babies. We're the only private UK healthcare provider to offer patients complete cardiac care from diagnosis to rehabilitation.

In expert hands

Whether you’re coming to us with a common, complex or congenital heart condition, you can rest assured you're in expert hands. We work with experienced consultants from leading NHS teaching hospitals. According to the Healthcare Commission, HCA UK is among the best in terms of patient outcomes.

Faster diagnosis

When you're referred to us with what could be a heart-related problem, we don't make you wait. We aim to carry out an assessment on the same or next day so we can give a diagnosis quickly.

Seamless care

We offer a streamlined service — from comprehensive heart screening to cardiac rehabilitation and aftercare. Throughout this time, you'll have access to your own cardiac clinical nurse specialist. And you'll be seen by a consultant who specialises in a particular cardiac sub-specialty, not a registrar.

Multidisciplinary teams

We take a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care. This means your consultant will work together with specialists from related medical fields to ensure your treatment plan is comprehensive and tailored to your exact needs. Our cardio-oncology services are one example of this approach. Here, cancer and cardiac consultants work closely together to address heart problems that may arise from cancer.

A collaborative approach

We collaborate with top teaching hospitals in the UK and US such as Great Ormond Street, Kings College Hospital and TriStar Centennial Hospital. This allows us to share innovation and find new ways to improve cardiac care.
The operation was very quick. Within about 24 hours I could walk around the hospital and was ready to go.

Caring for children

The Harley Street Clinic Children's Hospital is internationally renowned for exceptional cardiac care. It's the only independent hospital in the UK to specialise in treating congenital heart disease in children. In some cases, we're even able to treat heart conditions before birth.

Investing in the best technology

We continually invest in the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology.  We're one of the few places in the UK to carry out PEARS (personalised external aortic root support) procedures, and we're fully equipped for other types of robotic heart surgery.

Keeping you healthy

Our cardiac screening packages are designed to pick up early signs of disease and identify your risk factors. Based on your results, we can give you advice on maintaining a healthy heart and minimising future risks.   If you do need treatment, you'll be supported by a specialist cardiac nurse alongside holistic services including: - dietary advice - psychosexual counselling - help with symptom control - support for your partner, family or carer

Helping you recover

Our surgeons use the latest minimally invasive techniques whenever it's appropriate to help improve recovery times. When it comes to your rehabilitation, we're committed to giving you the best chance of a full recovery. We'll support you in the weeks following treatment, and you'll have access to a consultant, nurse, physiotherapist, dietitian and pharmacist.

Our hospitals

Our three hospitals are internationally recognised. Our cardiac department brings together these three sites, our consultants, nurses, teams and technology. It’s all these elements combined that allow us to deliver outstanding care.
