Urgent ear, nose and throat conditions
Our experienced Urgent Care medical and nursing team can quickly assess and diagnose simple ear, nose and throat conditions and can initiate treatment if necessary. We can also provide a network of expert private ear nose and throat specialists for referral, onward care and review.
In most cases problems are diagnosed using physical examination alone, however should further diagnostics be required they can be arranged either on site or through the referral process.

- Suspected broken nose
- Nose bleeding

- Difficulty swallowing
Unfortunately we do not treat dental problems
Urgent Care treatment for ear, nose and throat conditions include:
- Full assessment and examination
- Pain relief
- Antibiotics (Intravenous or Oral)
- Wound management
- Arranging investigations and follow up
In addition we can also arrange any wound follow up or reviews in the Urgent Care Centre where suitable.
How to access our Urgent Care Centre
We are open for walk in patients at our adult Urgent Care Centres, however our paediatric Urgent Care Centre at The Portland Hospital requires booking an appointment.
For any life threatening conditions patients should always call 999 or go the nearest NHS emergency department
