Screening test for Hughes syndrome

Screening for Antiphospholipid syndrome

A test for an increased risk of blood clots

About Hughes syndrome

If you have Hughes syndrome, also known as antiphospholipid syndrome, you are at increased risk of developing blood clots. This in turn makes you more susceptible to a heart attack or stroke.

Blood clots also increase the risk of a miscarriage in pregnant women. HCA UK can screen test for the presence of the condition.
