We offer a range of classes including hypnobirthing, caesarian delivery preparation and advice on caring for your baby

About our classes

Our antenatal and postnatal classes aim to help couples have a positive birthing and post-childbirth experience. We also provide exercise classes to help prepare your body for childbirth and to maintain general fitness post-birth. Both one-to-one and group sessions are available.

All our classes run continually throughout the year and can be arranged to suit your due date and personal commitments. 

You can book to attend our classes regardless of whether you are having your baby with us or at another hospital.

Antenatal and postnatal class Timetable

  • Saturday workshop (From 32 weeks) icon plus

    This is a condensed and informative workshop for those preparing for birth and caring for newborns, and includes information on breastfeeding.

    This workshop will suit couples who are busy or living in London for the birth. This complements community classes.

  • C-section preparation (From 34 weeks) icon plus

    This course is for couples having an elective c-section and includes c-section information for mother, caring for a newborn and feeding.

    This workshop will suit couples who are birthing via c-section. this class can be done for an individual or as part of a small group.


    2 x 2 hour session 




  • Hypnobirthing (From 28 weeks) icon plus

    This course is about easy to learn breathing ad relaxation techniques to help achieve a calm birth. This course is offered from 28 weeks, but can help at any stage.  

    This workshop will suit couples who are anxious about the birth, and women who want minimal medication during the birth. This course complements a water birth.


    2 x 2 hour session 




  • One-to-one private sessions icon plus

    This course is restricted to you and the midwife about any individual topic you would like to discuss or have concerns about. These sessions are available at any stage of your pregnancy.  

    These sessions are for couples who need privacy or are birthing in London but reside aboard.


    1-2 hours as required by the subject.

  • Breastfeeding icon plus

    This course details the essential first steps to prepare for breast feeding. These sessions are available at any stage of your pregnancy.  

    This course is for mothers wanting to breastfeed their first baby as well as experienced mothers who had problems breastfeeding.

  • Birth reflection icon plus

    This course is a private session with a midwife before the next birth.  

    This course is for mothers who have had a previous traumatic delivery.

  • Baby massage icon plus

    This course is for teaching parents how to massage their baby. This can be undertaken anytime after the baby is 6 weeks old. 

    This course is for parents who have a baby aged 6-12 weeks old.

  • Baby first aid icon plus

    This course is for teaching parentsbasic first aid, and includes CPR from birth to 1 year olds. 

    This course is for all parents of newborn babies.
