Helping recovery and improving performance

Sports and exercise medicine (SEM) is dedicated to diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating all types of sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

Sports and exercise medicine (SEM) is a rapidly expanding specialty. We invest in the latest technology and draw on new research to offer the most up-to-date diagnostics, treatments and rehabilitation plans in this area. Our involvement with the Institute of Sports, Exercise and Health means that we can give you access to high a standard of care that was previously only available to elite athletes. We help professional and amateur sportspeople come back from exercise-related injuries, and we also treat people with musculoskeletal conditions that may have nothing to do with sport or exercise. We can help you achieve your personal or training goals, optimise your performance and prevent injuries in the future. We also run a sports nutrition clinic, and offer outpatient physio and supportive services to give you the best chance of a full recovery.

Sports and exercise medicine is a multidisciplinary area that draws on expertise from specialties such as radiology, physiotherapy and orthopaedics.
