In the 20 years since our Rehabilitation centre launched, we have established an international reputation for delivering the very best rehabilitation programmes. Throughout the last 20 years we are proud to have transformed the lives of almost 2,000 patients – a significant number in rehabilitation terms.

 

We understand the art of rehabilitation and how best to support each patient’s journey to recovery, including everything from initial assessment and treatment, to specialist aftercare plans. Above all, we treat patients from the onset of their condition back to full health.

The way we come together as a team of experts means we can offer the highest quality of care to patients from all over the world. We bring together world-leading experts from a range of specialisms to work together as a multidisciplinary team (MDT), centred around the patient’s rehabilitation needs. 

Your personalised team may include consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, neuropsychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and more. 

Each of our treatment programmes is individually tailored and goal orientated. We discuss goals, expectations and achievements with you and your family on admission, regularly during the programme, and on discharge.

We measure all clinical outcomes using the Modified Barthel Index (MBI). MBI is an outcome measure used by the clinical team to measure everyday functions, such as mobility, going to the toilet, feeding and getting dressed. We record this measure on admission and discharge to measure progress.
