HCA wins twice at the 2013 RAD awards

HCA Hospitals won two major awards with their recruitment design and creative partner Pink Squid, at the prestigious RAD (Recruitment Advertising Design) awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House, London on January 31st.

Over 1000 HR professionals and agencies, who together produced outstanding recruitment campaigns through innovation, skill and effectiveness over the past year, attended the event.

The evening began for HCA Hospitals by winning “Best Recruitment Campaign Website” (‘Be recognised at the Portland’). HCA was competing with a range of well known companies including Aviva, Linklaters, Grant Thornton and LV. The judges said the HCA entry was: "A refreshing concept where you get all the same rich visuals and experience on tablet and desktop." The website was part of a larger advertising campaign which helped to recruit over 30 paediatric nurses, in so doing, reducing costs to the business.

In one of the most contested categories, HCA also won the award for the Best Employer Brand (“You’re in good hands”) beating the other short-listed organisations including Mars, Telefónica and EAT. The RAD Judges complimented the winning creative work describing the “strong methodology" in the collection of work which included the new Grapevine intranet, events marketing and advertising campaigns.
