Dr Bernard studied in Germany and Austria until 1989, finishing her GP training in 1997 after the birth of two lovely children and a period volunteering in Bolivia and Africa.
She has been a Family Doctor since 1998, with specialist clinical interests including musculoskeletal medicine, acupuncture and nutrition. After moving to the UK, her practice was primarily within the NHS, working as a GP in the Richmond and Kingston area. She currently works as a Health Screening Doctor and GP at Roodlane Medical. She also practices as a Locum GP in the NHS and a lifestyle medicine and functional medicine practitioner.
Dr Bernard is a member of the Royal College of Medicine, and was certified in 2019 in Functional Medicine due to her interest in nutrition chronic disease management, preventive medicine and holistic medicine. -
