Dr. Helen Cox is a leading consultant in paediatric allergy with extensive experience in treating children with a wide range of allergic diseases, including food allergy, skin allergies (eczema and urticaria), asthma, hay fever, inhalant and gastrointestinal allergies. During consultations, she adopts a multi-system approach to management, addressing all manifestations of the suspected allergy. Allergy skin prick testing and/or blood tests, as well as lung function testing, are carried out within the consultation. She offers immunotherapy for hay fever and asthma, as well as diagnostic food challenge testing. Dr. Cox was previously the lead clinician at St Mary's and is currently a lecturer and clinical course lead for the Allergy MSc at Imperial College. Her expertise includes paediatric allergies, paediatric immunology, paediatric care, food allergies, role of food allergies in eczema, asthma, hay fever, and anaphylaxis.
