Dr Jane Benn is an experienced general practitioner, having been the clinical lead at her private general practice in Stanmore for 42 years. She sees both adults and children for a range of conditions at Dr Jane Benn and Associates at Elstree Waterfront Outpatients. Dedicated to supporting her patients, Dr Benn offers comprehensive, warm and tailored care for her patients’ healthcare needs.

Dr Benn graduated in medicine from the University of London in 1978. She subsequently undertook various hospital posts, community clinic posts and health screening posts before entering general practice in the NHS 1983. Soon after, Dr Benn established her own consulting room in her home.

Dr Benn’s consulting room rapidly grew into a multi-room clinic with a team of several GPs, clinical colleagues and staff, becoming Dr Jane Benn and Associates, her current private practice. In 1988, she left the NHS to fully focus on her private practice to provide the best care she can. She prides herself in providing a caring, sensitive and friendly atmosphere, ensuring her patients receive the medical support they need.

Dr Benn is known for her compassion and empathy, developing close relationships with her patients, and is a keen diagnostician. She is dedicated to shared decision-making with her patients, empowering them to support their health and achieve their goals. 

Outside her practice, Jane enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking by the sea and connecting with her grandchildren in the USA.
