Locaions such as Chelsea Outpatients Centre offer treatment in specialisms such as gastroenterology and orthopaedic surgery. However if you're in the recovery process after surgery, facilities such as Chelsea Medical Centre provide expert physiotherapy services.


From initial consultations to diagnostic testing and treatment, our onsite and external units combine clinical expertise with advanced medical technology, ensuring you have a positive patient experience with us.

Our clinical nurse specialists

From the moment you arrive at The Lister Hospital, our highly-trained clinical nurse specialists (CNSs) will be on-hand to provide you with one-to-one support, from your diagnosis through to your treatment and rehabilitation. They also play a critical role in clinical practice, teaching, research, consultation and management.

Intensive Care at The Lister

To support all our medical service lines, we have an on-site critical care service, including a high dependency and intensive care unit.

The unit is managed by a team of specialist critical care nurses and consultant intensivists. 

Our physiotherapists

The physiotherapy team at The Lister Hospital are highly skilled when it comes to using a wide range of techniques to restore, improve or maintain your strength, mobility and flexibility. Our team are all full members of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health and the Health and Care Professions Council.
