What we offer

ISEH is proud to have high-quality imaging facilities. Among our advanced screening technology is the 3T MRI scanner which offers a higher resolution of imaging. Our screening capabilities mean we are able to be more accurate with your diagnosis, giving you a better management and treatment plan and recovery.

3T MRI scanner

Our 3T MRI is more powerful than your standard 1.5T. It offers a higher resolution of imaging and allows T2 mapping, which can be useful when detecting early cartilage degeneration in joints that cannot be visible in other high resolution MRIs. This MRI also has a larger bore, ideal if you are claustrophobic, and as it is so powerful, the 3T MRI reduces the amount of time taken for the scan. This increases patient comfort, without compromising on the image quality.

High definition ultrasound

Specialist musculoskeletal radiologists are available on a daily basis to carry out diagnostic ultrasound scans. By using high frequency sound waves, we can create accurate images of the injured body part, allowing for a better treatment programme.

Low dose X-ray

Our walk-in low dose x-ray service includes Long Leg and full spine imaging capabilities. With our on-site radiologists, we can provide you with your imaging results within a 48hr period, so you don’t have to wait long periods for your outcome and treatment plan. We also ensure that your GP or doctor receives a copy of your x-ray, ensuring a better and more comprehensive clinical patient pathway.
