    Mr Thompson specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including acute ligament injuries.

    His surgical interests include meniscal injuries, complex ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. He also has a special interest in anterior knee pain in athletes. Mr Thompson has had many high profile publications and has won numerous awards and prizes for his work recognised at the highest level Internationally.

    He continues to publish regularly and is the lead for Orthopaedic research at Chelsea and Westminster. He was awarded the highly prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Research Fellowship in 2009.
