    Miss Dana Touqmatchi graduated from Imperial College in 2006. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Northwest London, gaining widespread experience. Her NHS practice is based at Hillingdon Hospital, London. Being the lead for Gynaecology Governance at Hillingdon hospital, Miss Touqmatchi advocates the importance of creating an environment which aims to deliver a safe and high standard of care to all patients.

    Miss Touqmatchi has a specialist interest in the management and treatment of benign gynaecological conditions and has completed advanced training in laparoscopic surgery (minimal access surgery), hysteroscopic surgery and Colposcopy. She is an experienced Consultant and provides gynaecological services across a vast range of conditions which includes menstrual irregularities, fibroid management, chronic pelvic pain, abnormal smears, menopause, contraception and the management of ovarian cysts.
    In addition to this, she provides obstetric care in both low and high-risk pregnancies as well as pre-conception counselling and advice.

    Miss Touqmatchi is involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She is an examiner for medical students in their final Obstetrics and Gynaecology examinations and she is also an instructor on the internationally recognised Managing Medical and Obstetric Emergencies and Trauma course (mMOET). Her interest in education led her to complete a Postgraduate Masters at Imperial College in Surgical education. She is currently the Simulation lead at Hillingdon Hospital where she is actively involved in the teaching and training of junior doctors and allied health care professionals within her department.

    Miss Touqmatchi is fluent in Arabic. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (MRCOG), British society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and British society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). In her spare time she has an interest in pottery and also gets involved in voluntary work. Miss Touqmatchi has used her Obstetric and Gynaecological expertise to provide medical aid to female refugees in missions based in Greece and Lebanon.
