    Mr. Chandrashekar graduated from the University of Bombay, India in 2001. He then undertook post-graduate residency training in General Surgery and Trauma & Orthopaedics in St. Petersburg State Paediatric medical academy, Russia from 2001-2004 qualifying with a M.S. Degree in trauma and Orthopaedics. Mr. Chandrashekar's further training in Trauma and Orthopaedics has taken him through various subspecialty firms in Manchester, Harlow (Essex), The Royal London Hospital (Barts and the London NHS trust). Completing his FRCS Orth. exit exams, he went on a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the busy tertiary centre of University Hospitals of Southampton Foundation Trust (2013-2014).

    He gained a wealth of surgical experience working under the supervision of 3 experienced Foot and Ankle surgeons and helped him develop into a capable and confident, independent Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon. Besides this Mr. Chandrashekar has taken overseas travelling fellowships in to centres of excellence in Germany to learn unique techniques and fine tune his skills in Orthopaedics as well as subspecialty Foot and Ankle surgery. He currently holds the post of the Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Homerton University Hospitals Foundation NHS trust and has developed the Foot and Ankle practice in the Borough of Hackney working in close collaboration with colleagues from the neighbouring NHS trusts.
