    Dr Robinson graduated from Cambridge University and then completed his cardiac training at King’s College Hospital, St Bartholomew’s and The London Chest Hospital. In 2003 he was appointed as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and then The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre. Dr Robinson has researched and published widely on the use of stents for the treatment of coronary disease. As a British Heart Foundation research fellow, he was presented with his MD thesis from Cambridge University. Dr Robinson is an active member and presenter at The British Cardiac Intervention Society. As a Clinical Network Lead he helped set up Heart Attack Services for a population of 1.7 million.

    Dr Robinson is a highly experienced and high volume interventional cardiologist specialising in diagnostic angiography and subsequent stent insertion. His expertise involves the management of stable and urgent patients. His other specialist interests include screening for coronary disease, assessing cardiac risk, non-invasive CT scanning and calcium scoring of coronary arteries.
