Professor Onn Min Kon is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Clinical Lead for the Tuberculosis and Respiratory Infection Service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He is also a Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the National Heart & Lung Institute at Imperial College London. He has a clinical interest in tuberculosis, sarcoidosis and interstitial lung disease, and also specialises in interventional bronchoscopy.

Alongside his clinical work he runs an annual intensive course in tuberculosis acre for clinicians. He is also actively involved in clinical research with over 100 peer reviewed publications. He has a particular research interest in the diagnosis of tuberculosis and the immunopathology of airway disease.

Professor Onn Min Kon is current chair of the UK National Multidrug-resistant Tuberculosis (MDRTB) clinical advice service and chairs the UK Joint Tuberculosis Committee.
