    Caroline Moore qualified from St George’s University Hospital medical school in 1997. She completed her MD in photodynamic therapy for prostate cancer and then combined clinical and academic Urology training at UCL, UCLH and the South Thames training region. Caroline has been a Consultant Urologist at University College London Hospital since 2012 and is Reader in Urology at University College London.

    In combination with a wealth of knowledge across the spectrum of urological conditions Caroline specialises in the assessment and management of Prostate Cancer, regularly utilising innovative and cutting-edge techniques for both diagnosis and treatment. Caroline is an expert in MRI-targeted and transperineal biopsies for diagnosis, personalised active surveillance programmes and focal treatment (including high intensity focussed ultrasound and photodynamic therapy).

    Alongside clinical practice, Caroline is involved in numerous research projects particularly in novel ways of diagnosing and treating prostate cancer. She has been awarded the Chief Investigator of clinical trials at UCL. Caroline is involved in numerous international collaborations in prostate cancer diagnosis, active surveillance and focal therapy. She has a huge amount of experience in the set up and running of both investigator led and commercially sponsored randomised controlled studies in prostate cancer management.

    Outside the world of urology Caroline enjoys tending to her vegetable patch and cheering her son on in his Raynes Park Vale football matches!
