Prof Neil Ruparelia is a Consultant Cardiologist with sub-specialisation in Interventional Cardiology. His practice encompasses the London and Berkshire areas where he manages all manner of general Cardiology with medical and interventional techniques.
In 2004 Prof Ruparelia earned his MBBS from University College London, as well as an intercalated degree in Medical Law. After foundation training, he went on to complete specialist training in Cardiology in the Oxfordshire area and then further specialised with a fellowship in interventional Cardiology at Hammersmith Hospital, London and an MSc from San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan. Dr Ruparelia then went on to earn a DPhil (PhD) from Balliol College, University of Oxford, including time spent studying at MIT and Harvard in Boston, USA.
In 2017 Prof Ruparelia was awarded Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and began working as a Consultant Cardiologist for the Royal Berkshire and Hammersmith Hospitals. He has been an author on over 100 publications to date and in 2018 was appointed Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. In 2020 He was appointed Visiting Professor at the University of Reading and awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP)
