Mr Soulat Naim is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon covering all aspects of knee surgery, hip replacements and sports knee disorders. He qualified in 1994 from Bhopal University in India and began to develop a particular interest towards hip and knee surgery within the early years of his career. In 2011, he completed a fellowship in knee surgery within the knee reconstructive unit at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre, which is where he began working at his NHS practice. Before this, he worked in several orthopaedic centres across the UK. This included Exeter, Crewe, North Midlands and Manchester.
Mr Naim works in both the NHS and the private sector, treating patients for both knee and hip replacements. He uses advanced surgical techniques including cartilage surgery, osteotomies and re-alignment procedures. He also has experience in customised knee replacements and computer-aided knee replacements. He can perform arthroscopic surgery of the knee and sports injuries, as well as cemented and un-cemented hip replacements using ceramic and plastic bearing materials.
Mr Naim is also strongly involved in carrying out research and has presented and published his research. He has also written a chapter in a text book on knee reconstruction replacement and revision.
