    After training at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and South West Thames surgical region, Mr Simon Harris gained a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery at the Louis Pasteur Institute of Telesurgery, University of Strasbourg, France. Following further specialist training in the Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Units at Addenbrookes’ and St Thomas's Hospitals, he completed a Senior Fellowship teaching Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit (MATTU) Guildford, the largest unit in the country entirely devoted to the teaching and training of other surgeons.

    Mr Harris is a member of the Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons and is a Consultant Surgeon at Mount Vernon and The Hillingdon Hospital, West London. He is also part of the West London Cancer Network, routinely performing colorectal resections for cancer.
