    Mr Ranjit Deshpande is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at King's College Hospital, London. He has performed over 2000 cardiac operations including coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), mitral valve repair (MVR) and aortic surgery (AVR) with excellent results. He is also the current lead for lung cancer surgery at King's College Hospital.

    Mr Deshpande holds a special interest in port access endoscopy, assisted minimally invasive cardiac and thoracic surgery (MIDCAB, ENDO-ACAB, VATS), and is one of the lead surgeons in the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) programme at King's College Hospital.
