    Mr Paul Lee was born and raised in Singapore. He graduated from Trinity College Dublin Medical School and completed basic surgical training in Cambridge and specialist orthopaedic training in the East Midlands Deanery. He had received multiple training and research awards including those from the British Orthopaedic Association, British Hip Society, Royal College of Surgeons of England and European Federation of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and undertook subspecialist orthopaedic fellowship training in Toronto, Switzerland, Birmingham and Stanmore. He was appointed as a substantive consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital in 2011. Being in one of the busiest major trauma centres in the country, Paul routinely treats patients with a variety of orthopaedic traumatic injuries, surgically and non-surgically. He subspecialises in hip and knee joint replacement (primary, revision and complexes cases), hip and knee joint preserving surgery, hip and knee arthroscopy, and lower limb traumatic injuries. His research interests include ways to improve joint replacement outcomes, treatment of joint infection and joint preservation surgery. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications and spoken frequently at national and international scientific meetings. Paul teaches undergraduate medical students and post graduate orthopaedic specialist trainees from the London Deanery. He lives with his wife and 3 young children in North London.
