    Mr. Aziz qualified as a doctor from St. Marys Hospital Medical School, and trained in North-West London as a colorectal surgeon. He successfully completed a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) at Imperial College London and then went on to do a fellowship in coloproctology (conditions on the colon, rectum, and anus), inflammatory bowel disease, and inherited cancers at St. Marks Hospital (London), which has an international reputation in the area. He then undertook a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery at St. Marks, and was a consultant there before moving to The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Mr. Aziz specialises in coloproctology (conditions such as haemorrhoids, fissure, and fistula that cause anal pain and bleeding), inflammatory conditions of the bowel, colorectal cancer, and endoscopy. He is a Nationally accredited trainer for endoscopy and laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery or other surgical skin conditions.
