Mr Marc E Laniado is a consultant urologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of men with an enlarged prostate (BPH) and prostate cancer. He aims to return men to a healthy life quickly with the least side effects.
Being a consultant since 2002 in the full-time direct clinical care of patients, without other distractions, Mr Laniado has developed an extensive experience and expertise in prostate cancer and BPH. Special Interests

    - Diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer with greater accuracy and less side-effects: evaluation for high PSA, multiparametric MRI, MRI-targeted transperineal prostate biopsies, SelectMDx, Prolaris, focal therapy by HIFU, robotic prostatectomy (Retzius-sparing prostatectomy and nerve-sparing).

    Medical Career
After having graduated from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 1989, Mr Laniado studied on urological training schemes in London (Royal Free Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital) and spent a period at the Cleveland Clinic. He spent almost three years research what enables prostate cancer cells to metastasise. He has since gained further recognition and award from The British Urological Foundation Fellowship, Gilbert Bursary.
Since 2002, he has been a Consultant Urologist at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust and more recently headed the programme for prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as being the cancer lead.
