Mr Mahantesh Karoshi is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Women’s Health Expert. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London. He practices both in the NHS and in the private consulting rooms at The Portland Hospital. Mr Karoshi is a firm believer in educating his patients to contribute to achieving the best possible clinical and holistic outcomes. By taking this approach, he enables and empowers his patients, whilst addressing their issues and concerns.

Dedication, passion and analytical application of scientific principles to the clinical problems forms the cornerstone of his calm and effective professional care he provides to his patients.

Mr Karoshi prides himself on running a private practice where there is an extremely high standard of professionalism, where patients are directly involved in their care and management in all stages, and where new techniques and advances play a central role.

In 2010, Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London awarded him the prestigious Bernhard Baron Travelling Fellowship. This gave him the opportunity to work in the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the techniques involved in the advanced surgical management of morbidly adherent placental disorders, a serious condition that can happen in women with multiple caesarean sections.

Mr Karoshi is fortunate to work with leading and caring professionals in obstetrics and gynaecology, in national health institutions, private practice, and academia worldwide. His high level of training, holistic approach and extensive research ensures that he is able to provide the highest standards of care and treatment to all his patients.

Karoshi is an avid runner and a believer in vegetarianism. He practices meditation for relaxation, to build internal energy, and to develop his compassion and patience.
