    Mr Jeremy Lavy qualified in 1988 from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College. After house jobs, he was a demonstrator in Anatomy at Cambridge University. He underwent postgraduate training in surgery in Bath, Oxford, Bristol and Exeter, and was appointed registrar in ENT in 1996 to Royal Free/Barnet General Hospitals. He went on to complete a six year rotation including a fellowship in Otology and Skull Base Surgery in Sydney, Australia.

    Mr Lavy was appointed Consultant and The Royal National Throat, Nose and ear Hospital in 2000, and took over as director of the UCL/RNTNE Cochlear Implant Programme 2005. He has served on the council at the BCIG (British Cochlear Implant Group) from 2006-2010. He is presently a council member of the British Society for Otology and the Royal Society of Medicine Otology Section.

    Mr Lavy now practises exclusively ear surgery and has the largest stapedectomy practice in the UK. His research interests include otosclerosis and cochlear implantation.
