    Rizwan Hamid has been a Consultant Urological surgeon at University College London Hospital & London Spinal Injuries Unit, Stanmore since 2009. He qualified from Quaid-i-Azam University in 1990 before gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and completing specialised training at the Functional Urology Unit at the Institute of Urology, University College London Hospital. During this time, he was awarded the Markowitz Prize for the best trainee at the Institute of Urology.

    Complementing his experience in general urological conditions Rizwan specialises in neuro-urology, urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction and female and reconstructive urology. Rizwan has extensive experience in the care of neurological patients with urological problems focusing on neuropathic bladder dysfunction.

    Rizwan enjoys the academic and teaching as well as the clinical side to urology. He teaches on MSc and diploma courses at Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and University College London Hospital. Rizwan is published extensively in his specialist areas and is regularly invited to contribute review articles. As a recognised expert in his field Rizwan delivers lectures and workshops nationally and internationally contributing to training the next generation of urologists worldwide.
