Mr Kevin Harrington is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in London, UK.

He has a specialist interest in ultrasound in the diagnosis of problems and the use of minimal access (keyhole) surgery. In the field of obstetrics he has a particular interest is high risk pregnancies and ultrasound. He helped pioneer and has received extensive training in performing keyhole or minimal access surgery. He has been performing vaginal surgery for 30 years. He has published extensively on the diagnosis and management of high risk pregnancies.

Originally qualifying as a doctor in Dublin in 1982 he has been a practising professional for over 30 years. He has received extensive specialist training in performing keyhole surgery and in more conventional open and vaginal surgeries at the Hammersmith Hospital, St. George's Hospital, Kings College Hospital before becoming a Consultant at St. Bartholomews Hospital and the Homerton Hospital in 1995. During this period, he developed a specialist interest in high risk pregnancy and ultrasound.

Mr Harrington a qualified trainer/teacher in ultrasound and minimal access laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He publishes a regular newsletter which is available to both GPs and the wider public.
