Mr Hisham Hamed is a consultant Breast surgeon at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital and Lead Breast Surgeon at the University Hospital Lewisham. He graduated from Cairo University in Egypt and received his post-graduate surgical training in the UK. He obtained his doctorate degree in Breast disease from the University of London and has many publications in the field. In addition, Mr Hamed's research work has been published in several medical journals.

Mr Hamed possesses 25 years of experience treating all aspects of breast disease in both women and men, benign and cancer. His special interests are familial and inheritable Breast cancer, Breast cancer prevention and Breast Reconstruction.
